Asus Zenfone 6 Overview and Features - The Asus Zenfone 6 is the largest phone in the new Zenfone line-up. It has a 6-inch screen but is set to sell for under £250 SIM-free, if we don't get done over when the the phone comes here from the US.
The ZenFone 6, from Asus, was first available for purchase in June 2014.
We think the Zenfone 5 is the sweet spot in the new range, but this should prove one of the cheapest ways to get a 6-inch phone.
The phone runs on the Android operating system, which is the most widely used mobile platform on Earth. It runs on Android 4.3, which is named Jelly Bean, and it's one of the newer versions of Android available. It was first released on mobile phones in July, 2013.
Display ~ Asus ZenFone 6 has a 6 inch IPS LCD screen, which places it among the largest smartphone screens. Because its screen is 5 inches or larger, this phone also qualifies as a phablet. This also means that for most users, the phone will be difficult to use with one hand vs phones with smaller screens.
The screen has a resolution of 1,280 pixels by 720 pixels, making it a 720p HD screen. Display sharpness can be measured in pixels per inch (PPI).
Asus ZenFone 6 is a handset with a 6-inch IPS touchscreen, the resolution of which is a rather disappointing 720 by 1280 pixels. But it is nice that the display can be operated through gloves. An Intel Atom processor is taking care of all the heavy computations – a 2GHz Z2580 CPU with Quad-Thread Hyper-Threading technology. There's also 1GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, and a pretty large, 3230mAh battery. The 13MP camera on the device features the so-called ASUS PixelMaster technology. Color options include Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, and Champagne Gold.
Processor and Memory ~ The ZenFone 6 houses a dual core Intel Atom Z2580 processor. Its CPU runs at 2 GHz, which is much faster than average for a smartphone CPU.
1,024 MB of RAM means that it has average RAM for a smartphone.

Storage ~ The base model of the ZenFone 6 offers 8 GB of internal storage, making it a good choice for storing a moderate amount of media.
If 8 GB isn't enough, you can expand its storage by up to 64 GB via microSD.
